Yes, for those of you who don't know (which is the sum total of all of you, as I've never posted this kind of topic before), I actually do have a modicum of artistic ability, my vocation being, if you couldn't tell from the title, human Portraits. I don’t have many on hand right now--I have to dig most of my good ones out from wherever there hiding (all of the ones I’ve got now are studies). The pictures were taken with my cell phone camera, so the quality isn't the best, and the angle might be weird. If anyone is interested I could always retake the shots.

I love the Lawrence of Arabia one happy.gif The shading is pretty awesome, very intense, it really makes his eyes stand out, and his features are so clearly defined, its a great style you have *thinks you should post some more >_>* As for Stalin, obviously his features aren't as dramatic but it's still a good character study, i didn't like the random soldier as much but obviously your forte is in well known characters with a real intensity to them. Post up some more, they look great smile.gif

And on a lighter note...... thank god somebody else actually does real drawing XD I was starting to think nobody actually you can draw people with a pen XD Daikoren and Aitza are the only other two I've come across and they seem to focus on manga.

^I draw realistic things too, but... To be honest... I don't like them as much. >_> Most of them look okay, but they never turn out the way I want them to.

They look really good! You seem to have a distinct style, the drawings being a bit stripy - it's nice, I think.
I also love the Lawrence of Arabia one. I've never even heard of this Lawrence, but the picture is really nice and the shading very well-done. Also - I don't know if that was your intention - but it being a photo actually adds something here, I think, with the drawing being shown in perspective and stuff... I can't really explain it that well.

Please make more. happy.gif You don't have to, but it would be nice to see.

I create vale with pencil best using lines. It's a little sloppy but I like the effect.

You've never heard of "Lawrence of Arabia"! He's only the main chachter of one of the most epic movies ever: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056172/. Watch, period. It's over three hours, and drags along in parts, but is such an artistic masterpice it is woth the wait.
