» Why is this site dead?

I've been wondering for a LONG time, and i now know the reason this site is dead.

Here is what this site offers that FEU doesn't:
Statsheet generator
Truly-fire emblemy game you can play online.
SPECIAL FE emoticons not on FEU. ex: ect...
MASSIVE sprite archive! And char portraits!
This site EVEN has a chatroom!!

Now HERE is what FEU has.
An entire board dedicated to hacking FE
LOADS of links to hacking resources!
A LOT of selectable skins!
An army system that could EASILY be on here (Since this site is also .ipbfree!)
And all the members too. Don't forget that part!

THIS site could EASILY have all the said above things FIXED! If you make me a temp. admin, I'll make you a great army system, fix your board layout, and update your skin! (Seriously, this skin hurts my eyes! It's too dark!)

We had an army system, Flare took it away for some reason I don't recall at this time.

The old members have mostly moved on, either caught up in real life or just stopped caring.

Quite frankly, I have seen you plenty at FEU, and from what I can gather you are just some immature kid who has nothing better to do but spam websites. If you were to even become a temp admin at this site I would leave it permanently. Aleatz does a fine job in Flare's place, for what little needs to be done.

Actually, I never used to spam FEU, but then ONE DAY, out of the blue, Lord-death logs on and says I'm a moron because i made a topic called "Proper english" (Link below)

I was just goofing around, but he pissed me off SO bad i ruined my reputation there. Have you heard the saying "It takes a lifetime to make a reputation for yourself, but a minute to ruin it"? Because THAT'S what happened. He KEPT spamming my topics and pissing me off, so i REALLY F-ed up my reputation there. In any case, i am STILL a good member, but everyone has forgotten that LD started it all. I STILL get mad when ppl make "We hate athos" topics. So.... I am actually quite mature in real life, I'm even a little shy. But in real life, i never cuss, i laugh a lot, and I'm a MASSIVE nerd. People are NEVER the same online as in real life... With a few exceptons. Heck, FEM (My bud) Spams 4X as much as i do.... So does erksage (Strangely, my other bud)

So don't go saying "If you were an admin, I'd leave this site permanantly!" Especially if you weren't around a month ago.

You are in no position to point out someone elses inactivity when you have made a grand total of 3 posts in 7 months.

Erm, *Cough* What are you talking about...? I never said he was inactive... And BTW, i posted on FEU instead of this site because i wasn't ever sure whether FEA or FEU would be the better site. Personally, i think FEA is better because you could have 2X as much content as FEU, but this site was made wrong. EX:

Although i mixed up FEP with FEA (My bad, there's too many FE sites!) I just want them ALL to be awesome! Including FEW. I wish it hadn't died. It was my first forum EVAR!!

Personally, I don't appreciate you using my forum as a way to point out what you think are the flaws of this one. People come to my forum because they like it just like people come to this one because they like it. If your going to use my forum as a base to suggest improvement on this one at least get your facts straight, my site has a chatroom and a sprite archive with battle animations, mugs and the like.

First of all, I agree with Arch. Enough of this comparing forums shit that so many people have come here doing (which usually was the only thing they actually did here). Everyone here knows about the various forums which forked off from FEW, so they don't need to be reminded. If they like what those forums have to offer then they'd already be on that site, so why come here and talk about it?

Secondly, the answer to the topic is simple. This place is small, and most of the members weren't in the top 10 post count on FEW to begin with (if you catch my drift). Forum activity is a combined effort thing, and I doubt one singular action will automatically make this place active again. If a few people don't post here there's a chain reaction. If people want activity they'll have to make it themselves.

Thirdly... I vaguely remember why Flare removed the army system, but he said I was welcome to put it back up if I wanted to. If members are really keen on the system I'd be glad to launch it again. Otherwise, I need not bother.

Last of all: If there are any other ideas which people have (and that are in my capabilities) I will apply them to the forums.

Yes, yes, I'm sure making the skin blue or something will bring people swarming in their masses.

Arch's right! You shouldn't use his site as a way of pointing out the flaws of this site. I actually think FEU is great and FEA is excellent too. At FEU people work very hard which is why FEU has had such great success! FEA is no exception, I'm sure they work just as hard as FEU does.

I think that FEA is just in a bit of a bad phase...like there's a good phase then a good phase...then bad again. Don't worry I'm, sure this site will be good later on!

Both sites are very good, I'm a member on both of them but have been inactive on both for a while. I've been gone because I have been busy. I hope this site comes back to life again because I feel it was the best fire emblem forum to come to for information or just to talk about the game for fun. Arch is a great and knowledgeable member on this forum and naturally when he made his own FE forum it become a great forum as well. I think you should not start a feud on which is better and go to the one you like best.

FEW dies.
FEE changes into fail-site.
FEU get the uber, but theres nothing really to DO there...
Even FEP is becoming less of a forum and more of a closely knit click.

And now FEA is starting to die....


What happened? Between us all, we probably have enough people to fill the state of new jersey! Seriously, what the hell?

One site (FEU) isn't enough for me, so, I'm back!

FEW isn't dead yet, FEE isn't fail (though probably not to the tastes of anyone in this forum), FEU is anything but uber, and I don't go to FEP so I've got nothing there.

I don't see why we need a hacking section. It is something you FEU people can do--not considering, for the moment, that I am one of those FEU people--since most people here at FEA don't know anything about it. Anyway, we would not want to be flooded with hacker n00bs, I think.

Graphics and good looks do not a good forum make.

Like others have pointed out, we used to have one of those. None of the current members are really interested in an army system, though.

... there are people at FEU we don't want in the first place. Like those who come here and try to convert us to fully abandon FEA.
