Yeah, so we're gonna try this again. Basically, it's where members post their guides/walkthroughs for Fire Emblem Games. Pretty simple, right?

Well, no...it's not simple. You may say 'I can do that!'...but find out you are just too lazy to actually finish it. If you choose to help with this, you must send updates every week no matter how big or small it is. If I don't get an update, I'll list your work as 'Forgotten' and I'll let someone else work on it.

If you wish to submit a guide, feel free to work with someone else. As long as you don't steal information from other sites, or take someone else's work, I'm fine with it.

Guides need to be well thought out, not one line sentences. I can tell the difference between effort, and nor effort. Here is an example of a good bad guide.

Ewan-

Ewan's a bad character. He's not worth it, use Lute or Artur over him.

Ewan-

Ewan is one character that doesn't have much use. Lute has surpassed him as a Sage before he even joined! If you want to use Ewan, be sure to try the Druid Promotion Path or Summoner for some dark magic. Ewan takes quite a bit of time to work with, but if you are willing to put the effort into, you'll see how good he is for about...1 chapter or so. He needs the tower to train with, or he's dead fast.

<-->

See? The second description of Ewan is great. It gives both strengths and weaknesses. The first one? A one line, general opinion. That doesn't cut it.

Another thing. Spelling and Grammar. I don't have time to spell check everything you do. So please, please, please do that yourself. There are hundreds of online spell checking websites. Find one.

Format is another issue. Guides should have a table of contents and should be easy to navigate. The font to use for all guides should be Courier New, 10 point font.

Remember, you can make a guide for just about anything, be it weapons, items, growths, bases or characters. Also, feel free to make charts and tables with HTML. In fact, it's recommended (because it saves me a couple hours of my time).

If you'd like to submit or start working on something check here.

FE4 Pairings Guide - Swordsalmon
FE7 Character Guide - Janissary

*is preparing to get in over his head* Wow I can't decide which one to choose. Umm..Ok. May I try a FE7 Character guide? *shoots self* Do the updates have to be substantial? I'm not sure hwo much I can get done, depends on my time when I don't have soccer and misc other stuff. I should be able to be down in 4 weeks max I think though.

Sure, go ahead. *got so sick of doing the FE7 guide that he gave up*

But before you go ahead and make this major, I recommend that you post like...an example of a character guide so I know what you are doing.

Remember the difference though.

A Character guide has growths, bases, equipment, supports and a review of the character.

A Character review guide is just an overview of the character.

Yes I know. I was planning on entering that? So you want me to go ahead and do one character on here for you to see? Ok. I will write the review and get the stats, etc. up in a little.

Eliwood Base/Growth/PromoCap/PromoBonus
HP
STR
SKL
SPD
DEF
RES
LUCK

Eliwood is average. That is about all I can say. He is a hard character to judge because he has no single sure stat, but he has no real stat that is a killer. His stats are well rounded, and if he gets RNG blessed for you, you will probably end up with a Top 5 character. If he gets RNG screwed, you will end up with....well he'll be terrible. I have yet to find a real average Eliwood. He can't seem to do that.
Realistic Stat Cappablility: 1-2
Grade: B
Personal Expierience Notes: He tends to cap Skill the most out of any of his stats.*

*This is for anything extra which does not pertain to an overall opinion but I still believe. Anything based on opinions because of playing goes here.

Edit: How is this? Also, any who wishes to add comments abbout an FE7 character, PM me about it should I get the guide. Lastly, this may take awhile. It is sort of tedious and I can tell I will get bored doing lare chunks of it at once. Time Estimate: 4 weeks+, depends on time available.

Ok. I am going to go ahead and start then. One question: Is there anything illegal about using the character mugs in my guide? Also, you want this in MSWord, correct?

Edit: It is going to be in Microsoft Works Word Proccessor because that is the only thing on my laptop. Sorry.

If you use color, use the HTML color tags. Also, any sort of document is fine so long as the font is courier new 10 point font.

Ok. The only color will be a banner. Do you want the Photoshop image tags then?

Edit: What sections do you need to have in there? I have a Version History, Character Guide, FAQs, and Copywrite/Permission to Use.

Let's just say I have read alot of guides in my time. First one I have tried to write though.

Yeah I have a table of contents, but it isn't a section for searching purposes.

EDIT: I have two characters done and am uploading it to make sure it meets your specifications. Let me know any feedback. Thanks.
