My top character was Rolf my first run, time was something like 39 hours. My second run I think Ike was my top character with around 35 hours.

Yeah I completely spoiled Ilyana with BEXP and custom tomes and I promoted her to arch asap with the master crown since she maxed in speed at lvl 10 and I could put her on the front lines since no one could hit her and she can double anyone on those early chapters. On round 10 Nolan WOULD have been number one but he died on the last chapter and I would usually restart because of it but I already restarted twice previously so I was not willing. On my 12 play through which I'm currently not playing I think Brom might have a chance to swipe that No.1 spot.
19 hours!? Did you use battle animations on that run? -------------------- ![]() |

Haha. In my first (and only, thus far) completed playthrough of the game, none of you will ever guess who were my top two characters (well, at least in terms of kills). =p

Vika and Tormod? I only guess because they seem to be extremely far-fetched options. OH NOLAN AND EDWARD! -------------------- |

Haha. No. I think the only way to get those two to the top in kills is to kill off all of your kill leaders in the final chapter.
It was Heather and Meg. Meg would have finished first, but I gave Heather Dragonfoe and the Peshkatz in 4-F part 3 and she ended up with 3 more kills than Meg at the end. Which made me really happy, because it had been my goal to finish the game with Heather as my top unit in kills. |

That is absolutely insane, I usually forget Meg even exists because she gets benched immediately after I get her >_>

I....LOVE HEATHER! However I've never gotten her over 3rd place in all my runs and meg Is probably just as good as edward and nolan (not really saying much I know) since she gets a lot of speed however she caps right when she promotes at 22 and thats her downside along with her lack of skill and strength. Heather is just amazing! you get to use her in part 2 and 3 and theres so much stuff for her to steal and she never gets hit (unless her bio is low) and shes not such a bad fighter
Hyo you only played it once!? D= -------------------- ![]() |

No, Meg is awful, and nowhere near as good as Edward. And Nolan is in a whole other league, as he's actually a really good unit.
And Heather is absolutely atrocious at fighting. She wields the weakest weapons and has crap for STR. She's probably the worst damage-dealer in the game. But she's a Thief, so she's not expected to be good in battle. Her value lies elsewhere. But it's still really fun to turn her into a killing machine. Yep, I've only gotten through it once. It took me months to finish my first playthrough, because other games kept coming out and interrupting my FE playthrough. And I haven't gotten back to it yet. But I definitely plan to play it again. |

Yeah your right about Nolan don't know why I compared him to meg. Nolan has so much over everyone in that group such as the fact he wields axes and has a level advantage in the beginning not to mention tarvos which not only gives extra defense but also has 100 hit and great might. I wouldn't say Heather is absolutely atrocious. I know she isn't good but she can do something that more than most units will find difficult, doubling. She wont miss and she wont get hit very often and bane might not be lethality but its still a good skill. Now if you want to talk about absolutely horrible fighters we can talk about mist but like heather she serves a different purpose.
Oh and make sure you get Lehran and try out pelleas in your 2nd run and if you havent already, get oliver...hes so awesome (custom battle theme FTW). -------------------- ![]() |

Considering meg's starting level is bad but her growths are pretty good.
Her, Fiona, and Tormods little group have to be some of the most underused characters. |

Ive used all of them in separate runs. Have to use a lot of BEXP on tormods group.
Vika (sexiest character)-Incredible speed but very low strength and weak raven beak. Maurim-Best of the 3 with his great strength/defense and decent speed Hes one of the more appealing laguz in the game. Tormod-Low speed, Average magic, and useless High strength. Some say hes a overlooked gem but theres nothing special about him. -------------------- ![]() |

It doesn't matter that Heather can double. Everyone can do more damage in one hit than she can do in two. And Bane is definitely awful. It's the only skill that can't kill an enemy, and it has an absolutely atrocious activation rate.
I plan on using Fiona on my next playthrough. Should be fun. She's possibly the worst unit in the game. It's almost required to boss abuse her if you plan to get any use out of her at all. And did someone say that Meg's growths were good? Not in the least. She has overkill SPD and no STR and DEF. Her SPD growth is entirely wasted by her class and its pitiful SPD cap. She can't even cap ram for BExp abuse. |
